Environmental Packaging
According to the "Paris Climate Agreement" in which 197 countries in the world participated and Turkey is among, one of the biggest responsibilities in Turkey's efforts to reach net zero emissions by 2053 is in the packaging industry. We know that if our country carries out an active climate policy in its efforts to achieve its goals, its national income will increase by 7%. For this reason, we are aware that “sustainable packaging” concerns both brands, consumers and our industry more than ever before.
For example, McDonald's, a global brand in the food industry, announced that its packaging will be 100% renewable and recycled by 2025. Again, all market places in the UK have started large-scale efforts to eliminate single-use plastics.
As İhlas Ambalaj, we are aware that the "environmentally friendly packaging" discourse is no longer a fashion but a necessity. We remind all our customers that choosing "eco packaging" will become a necessity rather than an option in the near future. We know that any type of packaging has serious impacts on the environment, from the procurement of the raw material to the production phase and transportation. Our institution knows that “environmentally friendly packaging” studies are a necessity for a more livable world, for our country and for our future, and we support these studies.
